Negev Industrial Minerals (NIM) has been mining and processing minerals in the Negev region of Israel since 1953. Currently NIM operates 3 sites, the Hatira quartz sand plant in the Machtesh Hagadol area, the lime & limestone plant in the Mishor Rotem area, and an additional mining site in the Ramon Crater.
